Beginning Leatherworking: Leather Carryall Tote

Construct a spacious leather carryall designed for work, travel, and everyday adventures. This larger project teaches students the complete process of building a structured leather tote with reinforced handles and an exterior pocket while learning techniques that can be applied to future leather projects.
Students will learn leather layout, pocket construction, reinforced handle installation, hardware placement, edge finishing, and final assembly while creating a functional leather bag built to last for years.
This workshop is taught by a Rocky Mountain Folk School Certified Instructor who completed our Instructor Development Program under the mentorship of a master leatherworker. Students receive hands-on instruction while helping support the next generation of leather artisans.
