Beginning Pottery: Gourdgeous Clay Gourds

Celebrate the season with a two-session pottery class focused on creating fall-inspired clay gourds or pumpkins. In the first session you will shape and construct a decorative piece and prepare it to dry for bisque firing. The second session lets you finish your bisque-fired work by choosing to glaze it or apply a cold surface finish. The instructor provides materials and guidance, and glazed pieces require an additional firing with later pickup while cold-finished pieces can be taken home per the instructor’s guidance.
