Woodturning: Turn a Layered Hardwood Bowl


This hands-on workshop introduces beginners to the craft of bowl turning using a prepared laminated hardwood blank. In a safe, supportive environment, students learn lathe safety, tool control, bowl shaping, hollowing, sanding, and finishing techniques while revealing contrasting wood tones and patterns in the layered blank. Participants shape and finish a unique, one-of-a-kind bowl and leave with a completed handcrafted piece plus foundational skills to apply to future woodturning projects.
