Fire on the Mountain is a nonprofit started in spring of 2021 as a response to the East Troublesome Fire that burned through Grand County in October of 2020. As Grand County locals, we want to do something beneficial and long lasting for our community. We are determined to provide wildfire education through community events; support for wildfire recovery, mitigation projects, training and equipment needs. Troublesome Fest is Fire on the Mountain’s biggest annual event and fundraiser. We are combining the joy and excitement of a music festival with the dire needs of wildfire education and prevention for our community.
