In this beginner oil pastel class, students will explore the fundamentals of oil pastel art. The class is designed to introduce various techniques and provide hands-on experience in using oil pastels to create vibrant and dynamic artworks.
Class Objectives:
- Understand basic oil pastel tools and materials.
- Learn fundamental techniques such as layering, blending, and color mixing.
- Develop skills in creating textures and gradients.
- To practice and to build foundational skills while incorporating the techniques learned in class into a mountain landscape scene.
