Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience\, you’ll have the freedom to create bowls in a size that suits your comfort and interest. Our instructor\, Wise\, will guide you through the process\, helping you shape your pieces to your liking. \nDay 2: Once your bowls have dried to the right consistency\, we’ll dive into the artistic side of ceramics. Using underglazes like watercolor paints\, you’ll have the opportunity to add color and personality to the inside of your bowls. The workshop will finish with a glossy clear glaze on the inside\, creating a beautiful contrast with the natural\, textured clay exterior. DESCRIPTION:Join the Grand Lake Creative District on October 12th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Community House for a celebration of the incredible collaboration that has taken place in our creative community this year. Our creative nonprofits have come together in remarkable ways\, building partnerships and fostering a stronger\, more vibrant creative spirit in Grand Lake. This event is a chance to recognize the power of these collaborations and the impact they’ve had on our town so far. \nWe’re also excited to provide an update on the Space to Create initiative\, which has already made great strides toward bringing affordable living and workspaces to local creatives. In addition\, we’ll be introducing our latest project: the Creative Hub/Workshop. This new space will be dedicated to hands-on learning\, collaboration\, and creative growth. While both projects are well underway\, we still need support to bring them fully to life\, and we’re excited to share how you can be part of these transformational initiatives. \nEnjoy an evening of food\, drinks\, and inspiring conversations with fellow community members. Whether you’ve been part of the creative journey or are just starting to get involved\, this event is a great opportunity to celebrate what’s been accomplished and hear about the exciting new initiatives shaping our future. \nLet’s come together to honor our creative community and embark on the next phase of growth and inspiration.
